Most styles have a kata for beginners which would be a series of movements to train them in the basics. The level of complexity and difficulty will be kept rather low for a beginner, but as they progress through the levels they’ll be taught more complex moves.
Unless you’re learning a very popular or mainstream style, it can take years of practice before reaching that point.
What Equipment is Used in Kung Fu?
Kung Fu equipment is somewhat different than other martial arts equipment. For example, many Kung fu clothes do not include shoes, which allows practitioners to use their feet more effectively.
